We’re looking for someone with stellar customer service and organizational skills and an adaptable mindset to join our team as the Event Coordinator. Acting as the primary point of contact for all event inquiries, you will be responsible for all events from inquiry to completion including the cross functional collaboration with our internal team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage incoming event inquiries & requests
- Serve as the main point of contact for all events and those hosting events using exceptional customer service skills
- Brainstorm and collaborate to create brewery events both ticketed and open to the public
- Plan all event details in partnership with customer(s) or internal team
- Execute events including but not limited to; table & chair setup and tear down, decoration services, facilitating events and acting as the main point of contact for event guests, bartending, catering services and cleaning event space(s).
- Creating & managing invoices and facilitating payments
- Establish & monitor timelines and risk mitigation for uncontrollable issues like weather
- Maintain an inventory of decoration & food supplies for events
SKILLS REQUIRED

- Ability to shift gears quickly and frequently
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 5+ Years in Customer Service role
- 2+ Years working with computers, Google Suite, and Point of Sale (POS) systems
- 2+ Years working in the service industry
EXPERIENCE PREFFERED
- 1+ Year working as a bartender or server

Bar Staff will report directly to the Taproom Manager and are responsible for front of house service and also assisting in brewery operations as assigned at Rapids Brewing Company. Bar Staff should meet the requirements and qualifications, be ready to learn, grow, and approach daily tasks with a positive attitude.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks
- Legally able to work in establishments that serve alcohol
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical endurance to stand for entire shift
- Organize and maneuver full kegs weighing up to 165 pounds
- Able to work nights and weekends

- 2+ years bartending experienced preferred

Duties include assisting Chef with preparing ingredients and menu items, working the line through service, washing dishes, and maintaining and deep cleaning the kitchen. Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required.

Events Catering Chef

Come join our team at Rapids Brewing Company! The Events Catering Chef is responsible for overseeing the catering operations for events held at the brewpub, including weddings, corporate events, and private parties, as well as off-site events. The Events Catering Chef will work closely with the Head Chef, Events Coordinator, and other staff members to plan menus and coordinate logistics for each event.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the executive chef to create menu options and catering menus
- Work in the kitchen as needed when there are no events or event-related duties
- Help out with any and all tasks as needed to support the kitchen team
- Take pride in food displays and Garde Manger skills
- Able to communicate and explain menus/dishes/techniques to an audience
- Continuously explore and create catering menu options and present a rotating catering menu based on seasonal foods
- Manage and execute event food ordering, food preparation and production for all events

Requirements & Qualifications
- 5 years kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Chef/Kitchen Manager experience desired
- Catering/large event and small custom dining experience
- Ability to work independently

- Recipe/menu development experience
